Patch Program
Melody noticed that there was currently no patch or badge activity to help Girl Scouts learn about public health. Therefore, she decided to write the curriculum and start a public health patch program to help fellow Girl Scouts get early exposure to the field of public health.
Through the Public Health Patch Program, Girl Scouts will participate in a series of activities to learn about public health and embark on a project to take action in their local community. Upon completion of the activities, they will earn the "Caring for my Community" Fun Patch.
